Who are we?
We grew up in a small town in Sicily, the biggest island in the Mediterranean Sea. Sicily is famous for its Greek temples, Baroque churches, and pristine beaches. But more than the beautiful Sicilian towns, what draws people to this region in Southern Italy is the mouthwatering food.
Sicily, located at the heart of the Mediterranean, has been a hub for trade and culture throughout its history. You can feel, see, and taste the traces of diverse cultures in its architecture, language, and food.
What is Special About Sicilian Cuisine?
Sicilian cuisine may have some similarities with Italian cuisine, but what sets it apart is the mix of influences from Greek, Spanish, Arab, and French cuisine.
The most iconic Sicilian food include the cannoli, cassata, pasta alla Norma, cannelloni, and focaccia. And of course, we shouldn’t forget to mention one of the reasons Sicily earned a reputation as one of the world’s street food capitals – the arancini.
Sicily and everything it has to offer will always have a soft spot in our hearts. But it’s hard not to love the Philippines and its warmhearted people. So, we decided to bring our Sicilian favorites — pasta, wines, coffee, olive oil, and other cooking essentials — to Cebu City, our second home.
Where Do We Deliver?
Since starting LuCa Italian Corner in 2017, we became a trusted Italian food supplier in the Philippines. We’ve built strong and valuable relationships with businesses in Metro Cebu, Mactan, Bantayan, and Malapascua.
Recently, we’ve expanded our reach to Bohol, Dumaguete, Siquijor, Cagayan de Oro, Iloilo, and the island of Siargao.
We are on a mission to bring authentic Italian products closer to you wherever you are in the Philippines so you can get a taste of authentic Sicilian cuisine.
